Family BSL Classes For Preschool and Early Years
Free and open to deaf children and their siblings based in Grampian. Teaching will be tailored to those who attend.
These classes should be suitable for those who have no experience as well as those who have started using BSL.
Classes taught by BSL teacher Mags McNulty.
What to Expect?
The sessions will begin with 45 minutes of child led stories, games and play aimed at teaching British Sign Language to deaf children and their siblings in Grampian.
After a break, where teas, coffees and snacks will be provided, the second half will focus on adult orientated teaching for parents and caregivers.
We will offer crafts and simple activities for children during this time.
This is our first block of BSL classes. We would love to offer future blocks for other age groups based on demand.
Interested in Attending?
We request that all who sign up are able to commit to the majority of the classes. It is not essential to stay for both halves.
A parent / caregiver may attend the adult led section only. Spaces are limited.
